 The incident happened on Friday night.  Mystery surrounds the incident.  It is learned that the police got the source of the incident from the CCTV footage.

 As can be seen in the footage, the sculpture is surrounded by bamboo and wooden decks.  There are two people climbing the ladder.  The light is low at night.

 The light falling from the surroundings suggests that they are hitting the sculpture hard by getting up on the wooden deck around the sculpture.  The two are wearing white clothes and white hats.

 When the news of the demolition of Bangabandhu’s Statue spread on Saturday, there was intense anger among the people.  They took to the streets to protest.  Criticism started on social media demanding appropriate punishment for the miscreants.

 The Kushtia Superintendent of Police said they had identified the miscreants after seeing CCTV footage of the incident.  Arrangements are being made to bring the culprits to book quickly.
