A horrific incident of police brutality took place in Munger, Bihar on Monday, leaving four people dead and several others injured. The people have been demanding action against the accused police officers ever since. After no action was taken against the culprits, the gate of the agitated crowd vandalized the SD office on Thursday and the SP office collapsed.
In addition, two police vehicles were set on fire by mobs in the district.
One policeman was injured in a shootout after a massive clash between police and people during the abandonment of the Durga idol in Bihar’s Munger district on Monday evening. One person was killed and several others were injured.
