CBI Judge Surendra Kumar Yadav has acquitted 32 accused in the 1992 Babri Masjid demolition case after reading a 2000-page order.  Sadhvi Ritambhara, Sakshi Maharaj, Binoy Katiyar and Champat Roy Bansal were all present in the court.  The three main accused BJP leaders appeared through video conferencing due to physical reasons.  LK Adabani and Murli Manohar Joshi appeared through video conferencing due to Uma Bharati coronavirus being positive and due to age.

Security has been beefed up for the incident. The law carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison. If all these leaders and individuals had been convicted, 2,000 police personnel would have been deployed, according to a report in the Times of India (RAF).  .

The date of September 30 was fixed by the Supreme Court. The Babri Masjid was demolished by the “tax servants” in December 1999. They claimed that there was a Ram temple on the site of the mosque in Ayodhya.  The land dispute over the Ram Mandir was settled by the Supreme Court last year, which allowed the construction of the Ram temple.  The court had directed that an alternative land be allotted for the construction of a mosque in Ayodhya.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a good start in laying the foundation stone of the temple in August by participating in land worship.

Ayodhya movement", Bharati said her role would be "disgraced

A day before the verdict was announced, BJP leader Uma Bharati wrote a letter to party president JP Nadda saying that he would prefer to be “hanged” rather than seek bail.  According to a report in The Print, Bharati wrote the letter to Naddar on September 26, the day he was dropped from the party’s list of national titles through dramatic changes.  Expressing pride in taking part in the “Ayodhya movement”, Bharati said her role would be “disgraced” if she was granted bail.  “I don’t know what the Ayodhya verdict will be on September 30, but I will not ask for bail … I am proud of my participation in the Ayodhya movement.  I have always said that even if I am hanged for the Ayodhya movement, it is acceptable to me … Bail will ruin the dignity of my participation in this movement.  “Bharati is currently enrolled in the Rishikesh All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) for Kovid-19. Her presence in video conferencing is not clear.

The lawsuit was settled out of court in 2001, with the trial set to begin on Friday.  The same verdict was upheld in 2010. 2017. Investigation against the allegations.

The court ordered the high-profile case to be completed within two years.

The trial began in 2001 on charges of serious criminal conspiracy against them after the trial court dismissed him.  The Allahabad High Court upheld the verdict in 2010, but the apex court on April 19 ordered the reinstatement of the conspiracy charges against them.  2017. The apex court ordered daily hearings in high profile cases and directed the special judge to complete it within two years.

The conspiracy allegation is in addition to the existing charges against them for promoting animosity between different groups on the basis of religion for which they have already faced trial.  Other allegations against them include “intentional and riotous” destruction of public property with the intention of hating religious sentiments, uttering statements emphasizing illegal assembly.

The CBI argued that the accused conspired and persuaded the ‘tax servants’ to demolish the sixteenth century mosque.

In contrast to the apex court case which saw that the Supreme Court gave the final verdict in November 2019, in this vandalism case.  This is the first court in our legal system in almost three decades to be ready for a verdict.  The parties involved in deepening this judgment will obviously have the right to challenge the judgment in the High Court of our country.

Despite the delay, more than 350 witnesses have recorded their statements and the CBI has issued a 49-page consolidated chargesheet stating that 49 people were initially accused in the case, now 32 of them are still alive.
