The Danemark Christian Eriksen collapsed in the middle of the game and was carried off the field on a stretcher after more than 10 minutes of medical treatment on the field. Televised footage showed Danish players crying as medical care tried to revive the Inter Milan player who suddenly collapsed near the sideline.
