Former chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattachrjee was admited to Hospital

  Tuesday after his condition suddenly deteriorated. On Monday evening, they said his oxygen saturation level had dropped to 80 percent.

 As the former Chief minister‘s condition could become critical, doctors recommended hospitalization. 

The fact that the unconditional CPI (M) has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. (COPD) has become another cause of concern for doctors. 

Bhattacharjee could not walk properly since Monday and needed constant oxygen support via a bi-level positive pressure (BiPAP). 

RecentlyBuddhadeb Bhattacharjee and his wife Meera tested positive for Covid-19. His wife recovered and was released from the hospital on Monday. The doctors had also previously advised Bhattacharjee to be hospitalized. D) However, he refused.
