 The United States is sending vaccines to India among a handful of countries

 

 The United States plans to send at least 60 million vaccines to countries around the world by June.


 

  The United States has decided to give covid vaccine to a handful of countries.  India is one of them.  US Vice President Kamala Harris has called Prime Minister Narendra Modi to send the vaccine.


 The United States plans to send at least 60 million vaccines to countries around the world by June.  As part of that, they are vaccinating New Delhi.  US Vice President Kamala  Harris informed Modi by phone.  Narendra Modi tweeted, “Talked to Kamala Harris a while ago.  



The United States has promised vaccinations as part of its global vaccine distribution.  We thank the US government, business people and non-resident Indians for their support. “


 Modi said, “We have talked about strengthening Indo-US vaccination cooperation.  Covid could be a potential partner in the subsequent health and economic recovery. “



 In addition to the Prime Minister of India, Kamala Harris called the President of Mexico, the President of Guatemala, the Chairman of the Caribbean Community.  In the first phase, a dose of 25 million vaccines will be given to the countries concerned.  


Under the Biden-Harris administrative structure, Washington plans to distribute 60 million doses worldwide by June.  U.S. spokesman Simon Sanders said in a statement that the United States was “cooperating as much as possible” with countries that have requested the vaccine.
