 New Delhi: The BJP finally released its list of candidates for 57 of the 60 seats in the first two rounds of voting on Saturday evening.  What is special about the list published in the first phase.

  Tensions came to an end in Nandigram when Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee fielded candidate Shuvendu Adhikari against her.  Cricketer Ashok Dinda has become a candidate in the autopsy.  Bharti Ghosh is fighting from Debra.

 The full list of Trinamool Congress candidates for the state assembly was released on Friday.  Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee announced the names of 291 candidates of the party at her home in Kalighat. 

The remaining three seats were vacated by the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha.  After the publication of the Trinamool Congress candidate list, the list of candidates of the Left Front and the first two rounds was published.  After that, the top leadership of the BJP discussed the publication of the list of candidates.

 On Friday night, the BJP state leadership was informed by the party’s top leadership that the party’s first round of list of candidates was to be released after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brigade meeting on Sunday.  According to sources, Amit Shah-JP Nadda decided to postpone the list of candidates so that the battle between ‘Adi’ and Navya, which started within the party over the list of candidates, would not be made public and Modi’s meeting would not be affected. 

 However, top BJP leaders in Bengal demanded that the list of candidates be released from Saturday morning.  Many may avoid a brigade meeting on Sunday unless the candidate list is announced.  In the end, under pressure, the top leadership of the BJP released the list of BJP candidates at night.
