NHAI was named in the Limca Book of Records, covering 25 km of roads in 18 hours
World record of NHAI. They completed the 25 km road from Solapur to Bijapur section in just 18 hours. The National Highway Authority of India was named in the Limca Book of Records.
Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari tweeted today that the 25 km long highway lane in Hyderabad was done by NHAI staff in less than 18 hours.
NHAI was the first to build 12.77 km of roads on one side of this four-lane highway. Single lane has been doubled on that route.
A total of 500 employees have worked hard day and night. The workers of the contractor company also work hard. Nitin Gadkari also thanked them.
Earlier, after the construction of the highway, the workers used to follow the Linear Method in measuring the length. Road measurements are taken as lane-kilometers from 2018 onwards. As a result, instead of taking the overall length of the highway, the length of each lane is now measured.
