Actress Sonakshi Sinha is alleged to be in legal trouble after a non-bailable order was issued against her in a fraud case.
The actor is accused of failing to show up for a Rs 37 lakh event in Delhi that she had paid for.
According to a news report, Sonakshi was invited as the principal guest to an event organised by Pramod Sharma, a resident of Moradabad’s Katghar police station area. The ‘Dabangg’ star, however, did not attend the event, prompting the event organiser to request a refund. Her management is claimed to have refused to pay the money owed to the event organiser. When the victim did not receive what was promised, a fraud action was brought money despite calling Sonakshi Sinha multiple times.
Sonakshi was believed to have travelled to Moradabad to testify in this case. However, due to her continuous absence, the court has issued a warrant against the Bollywood actor in the fraud case.
Sonakshi just returned from the Da-Bangg tour, where she shared the screen with Salman Khan, Disha Patani, Pooja Hegde, and others. Meanwhile, she’ll appear in the film ‘Double XL,’ which also stars Huma Qureshi. ‘Kakuda,’ a film she co-wrote with Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem, is also in the works.
