Rashtrapati Bhavan appointed new Governor of West Bengal, former IAS CV Anand Bose as the new Governor of Bengal
Former IAS officer CV Anand Bose has many precedents in administrative activities in the profession. This Governor is also behind many developmental works of the Centre.
The new Governor of West Bengal is CV Anand Bose. A statement from Rashtrapati Bhavan informed, “CV Anand Bose has been installed as the permanent Governor of West Bengal. He will be effectively in power from the day he takes over.”
But the new governor is not a Bengali. Anand, a former IAS officer and recently an adviser to the Meghalaya government, was born in Kottayam, Kerala, on January 2, 1951. In the case of South Indian names, especially those of Tamil Nadu or Kerala, it is customary to name Bose after Subhash Chandra Bose of Bengal. Many believe that his last name is Bose.
