New Delhi : DRDO has added new adornments to India’s throne. India successfully tested a Fer Cutter missile HELINA, an anti-tank missile developed by India, has proven to be a success.
The missile was launched from a Ladakh sophisticated light chopper and successfully hit the target. The Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) is a product of Indian engineering.
What is the nature of this Helina missile?
These new missiles are among the most technologically advanced in the world. It is one of the world’s most advanced anti-tank missiles. This is a missile that has been directed. Infrared Imaging Seeker is the company that runs it. The missile’s name is HELINA, which stands for helicopter-based Nag missile. It can be used in any weather condition. It’s also suitable for usage at night. In times of war or conflict, it can eliminate enemy tanks at the exact moment they are needed. Scientists say it can be used in more than one way.
Who conducted the examination?
A collaborative venture of the DRDO, the Army, and the Air Force tested the missile. This test was carried out to see if it was effective. Experts feel that the test’s success has paved the road for these missiles to be integrated into modern light helicopters. Senior army officers and DRDO scientists were present for the test.
