New Delhi, India: In a recent update, the IRCTC announced the debut of its new ‘Confirn Ticket’ app for ticket buying. Check the status of a confirmed ticket’s PNR.

This smartphone app was created exclusively for tatkal reservations. Passengers can now book emergency tatkal tickets from the convenience of their homes, according to a report by Amar Ujala.

Passengers can use the Confirm Ticket app to check the availability of seats on particular trains. It will also display all of the tatkal tickets that are available on a particular route. Passengers will no longer be required to enter the train numbers to get details on this app. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play store by Android users.

The confirm ticket app also allows you to cancel your tickets for free.

The programme also allows users to save personal information while logging in, according to the study. Passengers can save a significant amount of time by doing so. There will be no need to re-enter the information. From the Google Play Store, download the app “Confirm Ticket.”

Tatkal booking, on the other hand, is subject to seat availability. There’s a chance the ticket will appear on the waiting list. The ticket will be confirmed if the ticket is available when the payment is received.

The app is available on Google Play and through the IRCTC Next Generation App. The information is also available on the IRCTC website, www.irctc.co.in. An exception, however, is an extra charge is levied for the tatkal tickets through the app also.
