The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022, which took place on February 20, was a glamorous affair.

The film festival honoured Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise, Sidharth Malhotra’s Shershaah, and Vicky Kaushal’s Sardar Udham. Ranveer Singh was named Best Actor for his outstanding performance in Kabir Khan’s 83. In the sports drama based on the Indian cricket team’s World Cup victory in 1983, he played Kapil Dev.

For their roles in 83 and Mimi, Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon received Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively. Pushpa: The Rise, a Telugu film, was named Film of the Year.
Ranveer Singh shared a photo of himself holding the trophy on Twitter, writing, “At the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022, I was honoured to collect the ‘Best Actor’ award for ’83.’ @Dpiff official (sic), thank you for your support.”
