Japan’s senior Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) official said he had heard that former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was bleeding, and that the situation was “worrying”.

In a message, Singh said, “My friend is deeply shocked by the brutal attack on former Prime Minister Abe. My prayers are with him and his family.”

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said on Friday that he was delivering a publicity speech in which everyone was shocked by the attack on former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
