Sachin Tendulkar’s modified photographs have been used to promote a casino in Goa called “Big Daddy,” and the former Indian captain had just declared that he will sue for the misappropriation.
Since his debut at the age of 16, Tendulkar has been a tremendous servant to the Indian cricket team, holding the majority of the records in the book until today.
Tendulkar played 200 Tests, 463 ODIs, and 1 T20I for India, scoring over 34,000 international runs in all formats. He is the only man in the world with 100 international centuries.
Tendulkar, who announced his retirement in 2013, has been courted as a mentor for the Mumbai Indians franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL), and there have been rumours that the BCCI is considering him for an official role in the development of Indian cricket, similar to his former teammates Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, and VVS Laxman.

Tendulkar clarified that he has nothing to do with gambling, cigarettes, or alcohol in any manner in a message to his supporters on social media, and that his legal team is trying to take action against the Casino. He expressed his displeasure at seeing his photographs being misappropriated to deceive people.
“I’m pleading with everyone to be wary of deceptive visuals.” on social media,” Tendulkar captioned
“”While my legal team will take the necessary steps, I believe it is critical that I share this information with everyone.”
“It has come to my attention that many commercials featuring an altered photo of me praising a casino are being displayed on social media platforms.”
“In my own role, I have never advocated gambling, tobacco, or alcohol — directly or indirectly.” It hurts me to see my photographs being used to deceive people,” Tendulkar wrote in a tweet.
Tendulkar is regarded as one of the greatest batters in cricket history in India, with a large fan base. The 48-year-old became the first cricketer to reach a double century in one-day internationals.
