Basil Thampi grabbed three wickets for MI and scored 35 runs.

After being selected to bat first, Mumbai Indians scored 177 for 5 thanks to Ishan Kishan’s quick unbeaten 81.

To create the framework for the total, Kishan and skipper Rohit Sharma (41) exchanged 67 runs for the first wicket.

Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets for 18 runs for DC.
