RuPay card, Immediate Payment Service (IMPS), Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM), BHIM Aadhaar, National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC Fastag), and Bharat BillPay have all helped to build a strong payment and settlement infrastructure in the country, and have changed the way people pay.

The NPCI’s goal is to use technology to bring about changes in retail payment systems. In order to help India achieve its goal of becoming a completely digital society, it is supporting secure payment options with broad accessibility at a low cost.
