New Delhi: According to reports, a former U-19 South African cricketer was hospitalised on Sunday after an incident outside a pub in Friarn Street, Bridgewater, Somerset.
The 20-year-old is in’serious’ condition, according to ESPNCricinfo. He’s had two surgery so far and has suffered from brain bleeding. A 27-year-old man has been detained and taken into jail in connection with the assault. Khumalo, who is contracted with Kwa-Zulu Natal Inland in South Africa, was seen enjoying his team’s triumph over the weekend, according to reports.

He was having a great time here as a South African cricketer. Khumalo’s agent, Rob Humphries, said ESPNCricinfo, “He had bowled extremely well and he had become such a lovely part of the club.”
