Independence Day 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the nation for the ninth time on the 75th Independence Day from the ramparts of the Red Fort, urging the countrymen to make India a developed nation in the next 25 years.
Today India is among the developing countries and is growing as a growing world power. Prime Minister Modi aims to make developed countries like America, France and Britain. It will achieve economic progress of the country and prosperity of people.
Highlighting the role of the private sector in a self-reliant India, the Prime Minister said the country could become a manufacturing hub for the world. This initiative will increase employment on the one hand, which will increase people’s income. On the other hand, people’s living conditions will improve.
25 years is very significant for the country
Addressing the nation on the occasion of the 76th Independence Day from the Red Fort, the Prime Minister said that the journey of the next 25 years is very remarkable for the country. He spoke of freedom from every thought of servitude, pride in tradition, unity and solidarity and the ‘five lives’ of citizens to fulfill their duty with a developed India in this ‘Amrit Kal’.
Self-reliant India Mentioning the important role of the private sector, Modi said India will become a manufacturing hub for the world. Emphasizing on self-reliant India, he called for it to be carried forward as a mass movement.
Industry is fast taking advantage of PLI
The Prime Minister also said that India has created history in terms of manufacturing. By ‘Production Based Incentive’ (PLI) scheme in various fields from aerospace to drone manufacturing. We are becoming a major manufacturing hub in the world. People come to India for ‘Make in India’ it will give new energy to India.
Emphasizing on natural farming, the Prime Minister said that it will give new energy to India and green employment will create a lot of employment opportunities.
Unorganized sectors should be strengthened.
He emphasized on strengthening the micro, small and medium enterprises and those working in the unorganized sector and said it would accelerate the growth of the industry. The Prime Minister said that semiconductor, 5G and optic fiber manufacturing has given impetus to education, health and brought significant changes in the lives of common people. “With 5G, chip manufacturing, we have brought massive development at the grassroots level through Digital India,” he said.
