For the remaining T20I series against Sri Lanka, Indian batter Mayank Agarwal has taken the place of Ruturaj Gaikwad. After complaining of wrist soreness in his right hand on the day of the first T20I in Lucknow, Indian opener Ruturaj Gaikwad has been ruled out of the T20I series against Sri Lanka.
According to reports, Agarwal was hurried from Chandigarh to Dharamshala, where the team will play the second T20I against Sri Lanka.
After defeating Sri Lanka by 67 runs in Lucknow on Friday, Rohit Sharma’s team flew to Dharamsala for the remaining two T20Is. Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Chahar, and KL Rahul had all been ruled out of the series before Ruturaj’s injury.
