In the 2022 Budget, the country’s education sector saw an increase of 11%.
It allocated Rs 1.04 lakh crore to education, an increase of over Rs 11,000 crore. The allocation for the digital India e-learning initiative, which includes the PM e-Vidya plan, has been reduced from 645.61 crore to 421.01 crore for fiscal year 2022-23.
