New Delhi, India: According to sources, a Qatar Airways flight destined for Doha with more than 100 passengers was diverted to Karachi, Pakistan, on Monday due to technical issues.
The Qatar Airways ‘QR579’ flight from Delhi to Doha was scheduled.
A cardiologist took to Twitter to express his dissatisfaction with the scenario. “How is QR579, the Delhi-Doha flight that was diverted to Karachi, doing?” Passengers are not given any information, nor are they given any food or water. Customer service is illiterate. Please assist,” tweeted Dr. Sameer Gupta.
A passenger, Ramesh Raliya, stated in a video message that many people had connecting flights from Doha but that they haven’t received any information about when the plane will leave Karachi.
Mr Raliya said the plane took off from Delhi at 3:50 a.m. on Monday and landed at 5:30 a.m. in Karachi.
“They forced everyone to disembark and wait at the airport after arriving. In the video message, the passenger said, “It’s 9 a.m.” “They haven’t informed us of the flight’s departure time.” There are ladies and children, and many people must fly from Doha on connecting flights,” he explained.
